Job Description:
AZAD is seeking a Interventional Radiologist Technologist, Diagnostic for a Full-Time W2 Contract position in Bronx, New York.
Schedule: Days working hours, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Weekends are required.
Assignment Duration: The initial assignment length is 13-weeks with a probability of being extended.
Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $50.00 - $55.00.

Job Summary:
The Client is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist Technologist to assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Essential Functions:
Performs specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to assist physicians in the treatment of vascular and non-vascular conditions. Prepares and operates imaging equipment, maintains sterile technique, monitors patient condition, and ensures accurate image acquisition. Collaborates with the care team to support procedural planning, patient safety, and post-procedure care. Adheres to radiation safety standards and regulatory protocols at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (manager willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
- BLS certification issued by AHA
- Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1) from ARRT to include one of the following:
- -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
- Minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting
- Required Vaccines: Varicella, TDAP, MMR, HEP B
- Prefers to have someone who has knowledge in Computed Tomography
