Job Description:

AZAD is seeking an Interim RN Infection Prevention Coordinator for a W2 Contract position based in Van Nuys, CA.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday
Assignment Duration: 6+ Months
Compensation & Benefits: Between $68.75 - $75.00 / hour ($550 - $600 / day), plus daily stipends (7 days/week) including $183 / Lodging, $74 / Meal and $50 / Auto. Weekly Compensation (including stipends) between $4,899 - $5,149. Benefits Benefits include a Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

Job Summary:
The Infection Prevention Coordinator promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs. As a part of the Infection Prevention team, the Infection Prevention Coordinator identifies, investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel, and implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. The Infection Prevention Coordinator is also responsible for assisting with in-service programs related to infection prevention and infection control, and with the clinical aspects of the Employee Health Program, including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing, and surveillance.

Qualifications:
  • Active California RN License required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Infection Prevention required.
