Job Description:
Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. / Azad is seeking an Interim Clinical Services Director, Ambulatory Surgery Center for a W2 Contract position based in Lancaster, CA.
Schedule: Day, Monday through Friday, 5 8's
Assignment Duration: 3 Months +
Compensation:
This position offers a daily rate of $760 to $770, which equates to $3,800 to $3,850 per week (based on a 5-day workweek)
Per Diems: Lodging: $191 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems): Between $5,739 to $5,789 per week
Benefits: Travel days, flight reimbursement and rental car reimbursement throughout assignment, Paid sick leave, Paid holidays, Co-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Cafeteria plan access and 401(k) retirement plan.

Position Summary:
Oversees and manages inpatient and/or integrated outpatient-inpatient nursing services within an Ambulatory Surgery Center, ensuring seamless care across the continuum. Leads planning, coordination, evaluation, and execution of clinical operations to support high-quality, efficient, and compliant service delivery. Collaborates with leadership and staff in the development of strategic initiatives, promoting excellence in patient care, operational efficiency, and adherence to regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
Essential Functions:
Collaborates with other Service Directors in identifying and implementing innovative models and best practices, emphasizing service improvements and cost reduction.
Directs development and implementation of quality and utilization standards across the continuum of care to ensure coordinated plans of treatment, customer focused delivery of services and cost effective utilization of necessary services.
Ensures compliance with administrative, legal and regulatory requirements of the Health Plan contract and governmental and accrediting agencies.
Oversees the development of department standards as identified by regulatory agencies.
Develops services that achieve a high level of customer satisfaction with emphasis on customer service, highest standards of quality and innovation.
Manages and resolves human resource, labor relations, employee and department safety and risk management issues.
May act as site administrator. Utilizes research data to implement clinical changes and the delivery of patient care and member services.
Directs the budget and resource allocations.
Manages the financial performance and identifies and implements strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care and services.
Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility Code of Conduct by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing required. BSN or MBA in health care related field preferred.
Current California RN license required.
CPR certificate required.
CNOR required.
Substantial nursing experience in patient care (around 8 years). Progressive management experience required (around 5 years).
Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The AAAHC and other local, state, and federal regulations.
