Job Description:
Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. / Azad is seeking an Interim Clinical Nurse Educator, Pediatrics/PICU, for a W2 Contract position based in Santa Clara, CA
Schedule: Day, Monday through Friday, 5 8's or 4 10's

Compensation:
This position offers a daily rate of $625 to $650, which equates to $3,125 to $3,250 per week (based on a 5-day workweek)
Per Diems: Lodging: $192 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $92 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,988 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems): Between $5,113 to $5,238 per week

Position Summary:
Responsible for clinical education and training programs to meet the learning and developmental needs of the clinical staff. Designs, implements, and evaluates strategies to maintain clinical competency of care providers.
Essential Functions:
Designs, implements, and evaluates programs that meet learning and competency development needs of clinical staff. Responds quickly to corporate changes in clinical practice and provides training required. Insures compliance and documentation of educational programs based on regulatory agency standards. Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates effectiveness of orientation/training/cross-training programs that are based on an assessment of individual skills and evaluated by clinical competency outcome criteria.
Collaborates with leadership to improve quality and efficiency throughout the continuum of clinical care. Conducts research into professional and community practice standards, technology, and clinical innovations for improved service within assigned care area. Makes recommendations for cost/quality strategies; works within budget. Communicates and markets educational programs to broad target audience using appropriate methods. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in nursing education required. Masters degree strongly preferred.
Current California RN license required.
Recent inservice clinical education in Pediatrics/PICU, 2-5 years experience required. CPR Insturctor preferred.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of the California Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, Title 22, QA, BRN regulations.
