Job Description:

AZAD is seeking a CT Technologist for a W2 Contract position based in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Schedule: 8am-4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.  Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays
Assignment Duration: 12 Weeks with high probability of extending
Compensation & Benefits: Between $36.00 - $41.00 hourly rate, plus daily stipends (7 days/week) including $169 Lodging and $79 Meals. Weekly Compensation (including stipends) between $3,176.00 - $3,374.00. Benefits include a Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k
 
Summary:
 
 
Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations:
 
Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
 
Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation:
 
Operate CT equipment and select technical factors
 
Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
 
Document all related data.
 
Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the public and self.
 
Other Responsibilities:
 
Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.
 
Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
 
Resolve and escalate complex issues.
 
Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
 
Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
 
Qualifications:
 
CPR certification from a hands-on program required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Siemens experience required.
High School Diploma/equivalent required.
Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program required.
