Job Description:

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and provide project management expertise, support, and assistance to the Transmission Product Management and Market Analysis organization, within the Transmission Marketing and Sales department. This position will provide project management services for a variety of key projects and programs including how Network Integration Transmission and Point-to-Point services are offered and affect implementation functions in the Transmission Operations and Transmission Planning organizations. This position will facilitate and develop key process maps, assist management with development of relevant business practices and will help support identification of product requirements for Transmission Study and Expansion Process and Available Transfer Capacity management.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, WA with on site 2 days per week. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is $46.76 and $74.93 depending on qualifications. 

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

A master's degree is preferred.  A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or management, organizational development, engineering, computer science, or other technical related discipline is preferred.
10 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
12 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree in a non-applicable field.
14 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree. 
Experience should be in project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Knowledge of process management.
Strong analytic skills and the ability to perform root cause identification/analysis.
Experience influencing and integrating change in a large, diverse organization.
Experience leading project teams, management review, and decision-making sessions supporting organization level improvement efforts.
Experience managing projects in accordance with industry project management principles.
Ability to organize and analyze detailed information and present it in a variety of formats for business, executive, and technical audiences using PowerPoint or similar system.
Demonstrated proficiency using SharePoint or similar programs to store, analyze and manipulate data.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar program
Ability to assess and estimate project costs.
A valid Driver's License or RealId is required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the utility business.
PMI or PMP certification.
Experience in resource planning.
