Job Description:

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and facilitate multi-year, multi-million-dollar IT technology and business projects for an enterprise level organization. This position will provide recommendations to technical staff and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of current and new projects. This includes planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage as well as monitoring progress and reviewing controls to assure deadlines, standards and targets are met. 

This position is based in Portland, Oregon and is hybrid with work performed onsite one day weekly. 

The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
With Bachelor's Degree, 10 years of direct work experience is required.
Without an applicable degree, 14 years of direct work experience is required. 
Experience must include direct work experience in an Information Technology project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution, strong familiarity with project management software.
Note:  Typically, responsible for medium- to large-sized projects ($25M and higher lifecycle cost).
Demonstrated experience with the fundamental operation, function, and workflow of a project management system with regard to timelines, dependencies, deliverables, milestones, and resources, including:
Project management experience on technology projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding and developing technical specifications and project plans.
Coordinating or running multiple projects simultaneously.
Project planning for assigned work streams, managing priorities, deliverables and milestones, identifying and tracking project issues, risks, decisions and action items. 
Working knowledge of System Life Cycle (SLC) principles.
Working with Visio flowcharts.
Experience with Microsoft Project, including familiarity with the fundamental operation, function, and workflow of in regard to timelines, dependencies, deliverables, milestones, and resources.
Ability to facilitate story development with product owner, manage project backlog, facilitate sprint planning sessions, and manage task burn down.
