Remote SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Job Description:

AZAD is seeking a Remote SDET for a W2 Contract full - time position. Candidates must reside in MI, OH, IL, KY, or WY. 
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday 
 
Assignment Duration:
The initial assignment length is 6-months with a high probability of being extended.

Client Industry: Retail
 
Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $34.00 - $38.00. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

 
Essential Functions:

The skilled SDET is to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The SDET will work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to create robust test frameworks, write test scripts, and drive best practices in test automation.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., XCUI, Espresso, Playwright are the preferred)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#, Python
  • Experience working as a lead, helping coordinate across multiple SDETs and are comfortable working with multiple teams
  • Strong communication/coordination skills - will need to be assertive enough to push back on a business product owner for instance
  • Experience working in SAFe/ Agile environment
