Job Description:
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Realty Technician and provide professional realty support to a public-sector real property field services organization. This role assists with the acquisition, appraisal review, disposition, and management of real estate rights. Responsibilities include evaluating allowable land use, investigating and resolving encroachments, supporting negotiations and updates to agreements and memorandums of understanding, monitoring property usage, and assisting with the preparation and administration of realty-related agreements, including reimbursable work.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Kent, WA; Olympia, WA; Ellensburg, WA; Bridgeport, WA; or Pasco, WA with onsite 2 days per week. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is between $42.00 and $47.59 depending on related qualifications, location and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma is required.
Associate's degree is preferred.
7 years of work-related skill, knowledge and experience is required.
Experience must include work related to real estate principles, practices, precedent cases and comprehension of the technicalities of government real property procedures, rules and regulations
Course Work or experience related to real estate principles, practices, precedent cases and comprehension of the technicalities of government real property procedures, rules and regulations is required.
Professional knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, and underlying concepts of Real Property Services, which may include Geospatial Services, Survey and Mapping, Real Property Field Services, Realty Support Services, or experience coordinating projects that include these support services.
Experience using land data and mapping systems. Knowledge of land management, acquisition templates, and commercial facility leasing. Knowledge of real estate documents including but not limited to: Warranty Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, Quit Claim Deeds, Liens, property title reports, and assessor/treasurer property information reports.
Knowledge of the general concepts of real estate management and commercial facility leasing which may include geospatial services (GIS), survey and mapping, LIDAR imagery, or obtaining information from title companies/county courthouses.
Knowledge and experience acquiring real property rights.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and/or experience with MS Project.
