Job Description:
AZAD is seeking an Interim PACU/Same Day/GI Nurse Manager for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, California.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday

Compensation:
This position offers a daily rate of $725 to $750, which equates to $3,625 to $3,750 per week (based on a 5-day workweek)
Per Diems:
Per Diems:
Lodging: $191 per day
Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems): Between 5,564 to $5,689 per week

Position Summary:
The Interim Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role, balancing clinical care and administrative oversight in the surgical department. This RN position involves coordinating high-quality patient care, managing department operations, and ensuring performance goals are met. Responsibilities include staff supervision, patient care planning, communication with physicians and teams, and maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards. The Interim Nurse Manager also supports staff development, fosters a culture of service excellence, and drives continuous improvement in surgical care. Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are essential in supporting the hospital's mission of exceptional patient care.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate knowledge of leadership within the framework of service delivery.
Identify measurable goals for performance improvement and prescribe actions to achieve them.
Communicate and document the effectiveness of medical/nursing interventions to the healthcare team and patients.
Foster a culture of service satisfaction and assist with the orientation of new nursing staff.
Participate in staff meetings and present in-service training as needed.
Qualifications:
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Must have at least 5 years of experience within clinical speciality, with 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
