Job Description:

Join AZAD as an Engineer performing line rating for a Pacific Northwest regional power utility. This individual will perform electrical clearance analysis, develop line rating information for transmission lines, develop line design data, and perform other related engineering support activities.  

This position is based in Vancouver, WA and is hybrid with work performed onsite 1 - 2 days weekly. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $30.33 - $36.57 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. 

The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited college/university in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering is required.
6 months of Civil, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering experience in design or analysis is required. College or charitable / voluntary engineering projects may be claimed as part of the 6 months of engineering design or analysis experience.

Desired:

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience using VBA. 
Engineering experience at an electric transmission utility with use of PLS-CADD to analyze or design transmission lines is desirable for this position.
