Job Description:

Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Electrical Engineer. This position serves as a field electrical engineer, performing the testing and energization of communications and control equipment in high voltage electrical substations, radio stations and control centers, as well as recommending modifications and additions to the existing installations on the system in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. 

The position is stationed in Vancouver, Washington, primarily onsite and will involve up to 95% travel to various field locations across the service area. 

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 - $54.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. 

The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (from an ABET* accredited school) is required. Note: *ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) is required. 
5 years of experience and knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principals, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system is required.
3 years of experience must include either:
2 years of previous engineering testing, commissioning, or field experience.
OR
3 years of engineering technician experience testing or commissioning.
Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and practices, relating to High Voltage Substation Protection and Control projects.
