Job Description:
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Contract Administrator / Acquisition Specialist and provide day-to-day support to Contracting Officers with drafting and preparation of solicitations, contracts and task orders and associated documentation; market research; interfacing with internal clients on statement of work and project timelines, and communicating with external vendors on questions related to contracts and the established procurement process.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full-time onsite 5 days weekly in Vancouver, Washington.
The hourly pay rate range for this position (including fringe benefits of $4.93) is $23.00 - $30.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree with a major in any field is preferred; a Bachelor's degree in Supply and Logistics Management is highly preferred:
With a Bachelor's Degree: 2+ years of directly-related Construction or Architectural Engineering procurement experience is required.
Without a Bachelor's Degree:
3+ years of directly-related Construction or Architectural Engineering procurement experience is required.
24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required. (Resume content must validate minimum 24 semester hours in the fields listed to qualify for this position - see following 'Note').
Experience should include a minimum combination of directly-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training is desired. Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Service procurement with an emphasis in federal procurement (the Federal Acquisition Regulations or FAR) and/or other public sector procurement preferred. Proposal preparation or buying experience performed in a private company is also acceptable.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with SharePoint.
Basic understanding of federal procurement (the Federal Acquisition Regulations or FAR) and/or other public sector procurement. Proposal preparation or buying experience performed in a private company is also acceptable.
Energy/utility industry experience.
Demonstrated editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
