Job Description:

Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Archaeologist and become a valued contributor to an Environmental Compliance Cultural Resources organization as a Cultural Resource Specialist, providing professional support and knowledge in the inventory, evaluation, protection and management of prehistoric and historic resources. This is a semi-active position as archaeological fieldwork is balanced by a collaborative office environment. 

The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications:

Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or directly-related field is preferred.
Bachelor of Arts or Science in Archaeology, Anthropology or directly-related field is required.
With an applicable Bachelor's or Master's degree, 5 years' professional work experience or equivalent specialized training in archaeological research, administration or management is required. 
A professional in historic archaeology requires at least one year of full-time professional experience in the study of archaeological resources of the historic period.
6 months of supervised field and analytic experience in BPA's service territory (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, Nevada, Wyoming).
Working knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA); demonstrated experience with and/or knowledge of section 106 of the NHPA.
Extensive experience in conducting archaeological field inventories and producing written technical reports.
